Event Cancellation Policy:
I understand that life happens — schedules shift, emergencies come up, and plans sometimes change.
This policy is here to protect the time, energy, and preparation that goes into each event booking.

Booking Fee:
A $50 non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your event date and time.
This fee covers preparation, planning, and the time reserved exclusively for your event.

Cancellations:

If you need to cancel your event:
Cancellations must be made at least 7 days before the scheduled event.
The booking fee remains non-refundable, but no additional charges will apply. -
Cancellations made within 7 days of the event:
You will be responsible for 50% of the remaining balance. -
Cancellations made within 48 hours of the event:
The full remaining balance is due, as the time has been fully reserved and cannot be rebooked.
Rescheduling:

Events may be rescheduled once, free of additional fees, if requested at least 7 days in advance.

Rescheduling requests made within 7 days of the event may incur a fee depending on availability.
No-Show Policy:
If you do not show up or do not respond on the day of the event, the remaining balance is due in full.

Weather, Travel, & Safety Considerations:
If unsafe weather or travel conditions arise (for either party), we will reschedule the event without penalty.
Respect & Safety Clause:
I reserve the right to end my participation in any event where I feel unsafe, disrespected, or uncomfortable.
No refunds will be issued in cases involving harassment, hostility, or unsafe environments.

What does the $50 booking fee cover?
The booking fee reserves your event date and time. It also covers preparation, planning, travel coordination, and the time blocked off exclusively for your event. The fee is non-refundable for all cancellations.

What if the weather is bad?
If travel becomes unsafe (for either of us), we’ll reschedule the event without penalty. Safety comes first.
What if my event runs longer than expected?
If my schedule allows, you can add additional time at your hourly rate.
If I have another booking after yours, extra time may not be possible.
What if not everyone gets a reading?
I’ll always do my best to see everyone. However, depending on group size and the time booked, shorter readings may be used — or some guests may not be seen.
This will always be communicated clearly before the event begins.
What if someone at the event is disrespectful or makes me uncomfortable?
I reserve the right to leave any event where I feel unsafe, disrespected, or uncomfortable.
No refunds will be issued for events ended due to harassment or hostile behavior.

How do I pay the remaining balance?
The remaining balance (hourly rate × booked hours) is due on the day of the event before readings begin.
